Poema de Hope Kroll

Scavengers de Hope Kroll (2003)

La poeta visusal nortemericana, Hope Kroll (1968, Illinois ), conocida por sus collages, se puso en contacto con El Ovillo de Ariadna para agradecernos que utilizáramos sus obras en nuestro blog. También nos reconoció que es una amante de la poesía y le gusta escribir de forma privada. Hemos conseguido convencerla para que nos enviara alguno de sus poemas inéditos. Os mostramos Seconds after surface.

Seconds After Surface

The dreamer speaks
heard everywhere.
words embraced like stone
break through her skin
under neath shadows herself
under the influence
falling
she stopped
and
listened
to her hands ordering darkness

The story tells combinations
of
dangerous hungers
the oderliness of evil
the insane prizes of god
its all reducible to rain
silent accretions
multiple curses
effective wrong answers

Her skinned tongue
blessed troubles
with a single cry
coercion and light
a difference of rituals and symptoms.
